Get Hooked on Scouting

This year, the CIEC is offering a special prize to scouts who recruit a friend into scouting.  Scouts that recruit a friend into the pack will earn a fishing pole and a special Recruiter Patch.  Also, each friend recruited will get a fishing pole.

Wreath Sales Guidelines

  • Wreath Sales Begin 9/15
  • Cub Scout Church Sales Sunday, 10/04 – Parent & Scout Volunteers Needed!
  • Cub Scout Final Wreath Sales & Buyouts are due by Wednesday, 10/21 at Pack Meeting. Den Leaders/Coordinator please remind scouts one week prior.
  • Vendor delivery dates between 11/30 – 12/4
  • Wreath distribution for CHURCH SALES ONLY on Sunday, 12/6 behind Youth Center building.
  • Cub Scouts have a minimum sales goal of 8 items per scout or a buy-out option of $80/per scout.  For scouts selling less than 8 items, a partial buy out of $10 per item less than 8 should be submitted with the wreath orders.  For example, sell 4 items & pay a $40 buyout to complete your fundraising obligation. 
  • Sibling Discount – There is no sibling discount.  The pack budget is based on a per scout annual expenditure.  Multiple registrations per family do not impact this calculation.
  • **Direct Delivery Gift Items DO NOT COUNT towards sales goal total due to shipping costs. The shipping costs are included in the price of these items.**
  • Church Sales on 10/4:  All sales made during the courtyard sales after Sunday mass benefit the Pack/Troop and the Church - not individual sales goals.  Your customers must purchase directly from you for you to get credit.  Your customers should also understand that you will deliver their wreaths directly to them; they should NOT pick them up at the church wreath distribution.
  • Collect Cash or Checks made payable to St. Paul the Apostle with either Pack 2399 (Cub Scouts) on the memo line.

2015-2016 Registration

We will be holding registration on Sunday 9/13 in the courtyard at St. Paul the Apostle after the 9am and 11am masses and on Wednesday 9/16 at the Annex from 6:30 - 7:00pm.

Ocean Fishing Trip 9/5

We will be having our annual Ocean Fishing Trip on Saturday September 5th.  This is a Fishing Free day in California meaning no license is required.  We have a boat reserved for just our Pack out of Dana Wharf Sportsfishing in Dana Point.

RSVP as soon as possible as space is limited.

Cost is $25.00 per person (scout/adult)  Pole rentals are available for an additional fee.

Check-in is no later than 4:30pm (boat departs promptly at 5pm so allow plenty of time).

Troop 2399 Fundraiser - Corner Bakery

Boy Scout Troop 2399 will be holding a fund raiser on Monday June 8th at Corner Bakery Cafe on Chino Hills Parkway.  You can help support the Troop with 15% of your purchase going towards the troop.  For more information see the flyer attached to this announcement.

Registration Fees 2015-2016

Below are the registration fees for the 2015-2016 Scouting year:

 Youth BSA Membersdhip/Pack Fees $75.00
 Class B T-shirt $10.00
 Pack Hat  $10.00
 Boy's Life Magazine $12.00
 Adult Registration Fee $24.00

New Scouts are required to purchase the Class B T-Shirt and Hat.

Returning Scouts need to bring current copies of the BSA Annual Health Form (Parts A&B).  Your renewal will not be processed until this is received.  Save time by downloading and completing the form prior to registration.  The form can be found here:



Information and Registration Event 6/7

This Sunday we will be holding our Spring Information and Registration event in Maher Hall following the 9am Mass.  This event will give those interested information on Scouting and our Pack.  We will also be taking registration payments from returning Pack members.  Costs for the upcoming year will be published as soon as possible following Wednesday's committee meeting.

Pack Hike Sat 5/23 - Redwoods @ Carbon Canyon

Did you know that Carbon Canyon Regional Park has the only coastal redwood grove in southern California?  They were planted by boy scouts as a service project when the park was constructed in 1975.  We'll be enjoying a these trees as we hike to the grove this coming Saturday.  Come on out and see something you'd have to travel 100's of miles to otherwise visit.

Time:  12pm
Where: Carbon Canyon Regional Park
Details: $5.00/vehicle Parking Fee.  We will be meeting at the eastern end of the parking lot of the park.  (Turn left once in the park and head towards the end).
